I am sure some of us would have heard or believed the famous quote in the Church that, ‘there are more baby’s naming ceremonies than weddings in Celestial Church Of Christ’. CCC youths have been condemned generally for not having wedding ceremonies or giving birth outside of wedlock. Well, All these are false beliefs and I’ll give you the reasons.
First of all, you have to realise that the Church wedding is not mandatory, it is a choice. The most significant and mandatory weddings are the traditional wedding mainly between the families of the man and woman and the legal one to make the marriage recognised by the laws of the host country. Every other kinds of ceremonies are just secondary and not mandatory.
1) Many people in and outside of the Church have embraced the private wedding/marriage ceremonies. In fact, most couples did only the traditional and legal weddings. Does that mean their marriages is invalid before God? The answer is NO.
2) It is normal to have more births and naming of babies than weddings of the parents. A marriage can produce babies at different times. Also, you cannot judge the majority just because of some members that had their child outside of wedlock. Before you judge any couple or generalise that weddings are not happening from members, please do your research well.
3) Spiritually, the world is a dangerous place. Individuals can also make their personal decisions not to announce in Church or go public with their weddings. Actually, white or elaborate wedding ceremonies are not fancied by everyone. Some couples may decide to do a low-key marriage ceremonies due to decisions drawn from prophecy, spiritual warnings, health reasons, financial management, proximity issue or cultural beliefs.
4) From my personal findings, weddings by many youths from various CCC parishes worldwide occur every week at event centres, parlours, family compounds, gardens, churches, villages or other locations outside the Church premises.
5) Some youths got married to partners from a different christian denomination or religion. However, some may have to do the wedding arrangements in their partners’ denomination or religion.
I hope these five points are able to change your mindset about CCC youths and marriages. If you have other points to add or different opinions, please comment below.
For all singles ready to marry this year, God will connect you and your God’s chosen partner soon for marital settlement and blessings. Amen

You’re absolutely correct with the insight! Not only in CCC, people have negative thoughts concerning weddings in white garment folds .
