CCC SHEPHERDS: THE BAD EGGS SPOILING THE GOOD ONES

There are many good shepherds (residing CCC parish pastors) in ‘Celestial Church Of Christ (CCC). Wonderful people who God calls shepherd that have made several selfless sacrifices to be not just only a Shepherd but also a father, teacher, mentor and many more to various people in and outside of the Church.

It is unfortunate that we attribute all faults of the fold to the shepherds, making these faults look so general without considering the good efforts of others.

Even those who cannot take care of their homes are shouting, those who cannot oversee just one staff are shouting, people who are unruly and haven’t had opportunities to even oversee even just 5 people are speaking ill of Clergymen generally too.

In my very presence, A lady walked into the church with violence coming to fight the shepherd. The shepherd’s offence was that he was concerned about the lady’s absence in the bible class, mentioned it during the ongoing class and the friends inside the same church texted the lady.

In this lifetime, for the joy of a parish annual harvest, A shepherd’s child died and instead of mourning, the shepherd and the family kept the pain in and away from the members so everyone can be happy.

A shepherd leaves his family hungry to feed others with the story of “God will provide”.

Sometimes, we seem to forget members are humans and adults who believe they are too big to be chastised or rebuked.

We sometimes act like the generation of the Koran, Dothan and Abiram.

It’s easy to spell out the ills of a shepherd, HOW MANY OF US CELEBRATE THE GOOD ONES?

It is easy to say they are covetous, how many of us took time to consider their welfare when they had nothing?

Even if JESUS CHRIST himself was OUR SHEPHERD in this generation, we will frustrate his effort and make him look stupid like he wasn’t called.

Before throwing tantrums, are you obedient? Can you be chastised? When you go wrong, can your shepherd rebuke you? Are you committed?

Of course, there are some bad shepherds, WHAT ABOUT THE GOOD ONES?
