I ministered at a youth program sometime ago and it was disheartening. I who was a guest minister had to apologise to an elder (fellow minister) when it was my session on behalf of the youths.
A whole lot of females walked into the church, even more into the choir cage who were absent during the previous teaching.
Ladies danced and were all sweaty during the song ministration. Oh God, they were beautiful, elegant and presentable ladies yet they were no where to be found during prayer and teaching sessions.
Truly, it was not only the ladies, but for the sake of this writeup and the fact, they were more.
My bone of contention is, I refuse to believe our ladies are wayward and all they can do is fashion, twerk, to take pictures and do Snapchat or Tiktok. I refuse to believe our ladies are incapable of been chaste, godly and being vessels for God. I believe that our females have a lot to do or lead to in or outside of the Church despite certain restrictions in the Church.
CCC doesn’t HATE WOMEN and isn’t against their MINISTRY.
This write-up is made to cause a paradigm shift in the mindset of some males and females who still lives in the mindset of non-inclusion of females in some certain church services/work and participation.
I am not debating if a female can or should lead or certain roles a female can partake in or not.
In Celestial Church of Christ, the doctrine forbids females to some certain roles, meanwhile this is an awareness and clarion call to our rising DEBORAHs, ESTHERs and WOMEN OF FAITH that there is more to do in the fold THAN TO SERVE TABLES.
BEING A PREACHER and AN EVANGELIST(doesn’t have to be on church pulpit), ALSO BEING A CHORISTER, A PROPHETESS, A SIDE-WOMAN, READING BIBLE or a sitting SHEPHERD WIFE.
As cogent as the aforementioned are, more importantly we have females who can wrestle in the effectual place of Prayer, females who can adequately teach and preach the gospel, females who can organize and convene programs for edification, exhortation and comfort in Celestial Church of Christ.
Asides those mentioned above, KINDLY ADD ROLES you think/know a FEMALE can TAKE-UP in CCC.
Someone might just be reading to explore their abilities in Christ and to work for the purification of their souls.
