CCC Church WEDDING 🤍Hallelujah 🙌 One of the beautiful improvements we have in Celestial Church Of Christ (CCC) is the Church WEDDING Ceremony. It has always been in existence, but it was seldom in practice due to a reason or the other which isn’t necessary for this submission. It’s a positive development I must confess. I have always had it in mind because I was properly taught for its spiritual significance and what it preaches. I was taught it’s a representation in the spirit exhibiting and reminding us the Love of Christ and how he married the bride (the church) and how the church is to submit to his Lordship. I was taught the Church wedding for believers is a significant event to come before God and the brethren in Holy matrimony, pledging our vows before the infallible God and praying in the solemnization of the couple. CCC wedding as it is often practiced should be encouraged. Please I said Encourage, not imposed.
The church wedding doesn’t stop the traditional or court wedding. Often times, the church weddings have some requirements which may be a burden to some. Therefore, those who are capable can go ahead and have it. Some people are always filled with negative words. Church wedding doesn’t matter, many people had church wedding and divorced Yen yen yen…. What of those done in court, traditional or those that didn’t even do any? Please stop the negativity.
Some may ask, is it compulsory to wear garment or sow garment as gown? NO, it’s not. It’s a choice. You either use garment or opt for whatever you have even if its Ankara. Just make sure it is decent and no cleavage is exposed. It’s your wedding abeg! Likewise, many who found love in their parishes or in the Celestial fold are proposing and getting engaged even in the church. These things are beautiful and should be encouraged. If you like say it’s copy copy. Please it’s godly to copy good things. If you can, find a godly spouse in your parish or in the fold. There is nothing secret there, it’s before the church and brethren. I think this is the best time to introduce proper marriage counselling units in our fold to help couples preparing for marriage. Likewise, it is only right to keep preaching sexual morality and chastity amongst our youths especially and to be stern at it. It’s not just about virginity but Purity. Thank You.
