The Lessons of 2020 and Your Targets For 2021

All Glory to God in highest for how far He has brought us.

It is no doubt 2020 dealt a massive blow on us all but here we are coming out (Not everyone is coming out Strong and Better). But let me quickly say this, we have heard it before ‘it is not how far but how well’. The Bible says, “And they counted and none was missing”. Looking back at how far we have come, we all have something to be grateful for.

Earlier on I made mention that not everyone is coming out strong and better, Yes! It’s true. 2020 broke a lot of people, shattered dreams, Homes, visions, some came out financially rich, others came out poor and so in3. If you are coming into 2021 and all you can think of is nothing but material prosperity then I don’t know what to say. 2020 has taught us all to seek God and put aside all sentiments (Ethno-Religious, Political and Tribal differences). Above all, we need one another to survive.

In the words of Mbiti, he said “I am because you are, and because you are, therefore I am”. Love, Positivity, God is all we need. Let me quickly chip this in, Setting a target for yourself in 2021, Praying fervently and working towards your target is very important and be in constant check if you are still in track (Habakkuk 2:2).

So, do not live your life this new year based on what others will say or believe but rather live life based in what God wants for your life. If you have been living out of purpose, it is never too late to live to find your purpose.

I leave you with the peace and Joy of the Lord all through the New Year.

Happy New year Brethren.
