It is another beautiful sunday and new week. Make a review; how did you spend your past sundays?
If you were to judge yourself with all sincerity ,will you say it is good or bad?
How many times did you remember to offer thanks to God?
Did you even take your time to look around your church members and happily cloth a member whose garment is always brown garment or torn?
Did you just use all the sundays to show off the new or transparent sutana materials or the latest design in the church?
Did you use all the sundays for gossips and quarrels or pinpointing the preachers/choir errors?
As the shepherd in charge of the church, Daddy, how did you spend the past sundays?
Did you take your time to pray for your members or curse them because they refuse bringing big envelope?
Did you complain or encourage the members ?
Did you remember to preach heaven or you only focus on worldly blessings ?
How was the ministration all through the past sundays, did it bring hearts of the Congregation to repentance, connecting them to God or connecting them to the world through the worldly beats?
Did you remember to pay your offerings or you used your instruments as an excuse not to drop a penny?
Mothers In the Church;
How did you spend the past sundays?
Fighting over the front seat?
Gossips about the next woman who refuse wearing her loins?
Focusing on the sister with the lashes but your daughters at home are nothing to write about?
Did you gather the young sisters to put them right or you keep rebuking them?
The Pastor’s wife/Shepherd’s wife;
How did you spend the past sundays ?
Busy selling spiritual materials and biscuits during the service?
Busy forming the “church queen”?.
Busy insulting the members because you are special?
Busy partying and ignoring your husband ministry?
Or busy encouraging the sisters in the church?
Let’s think about these. Have you wasted all the sundays or you have sown a great seed and expecting the heavenly smile?
…..ASAN NI FUN ENIYAN LATI FI OKAN FUN ISURA AYE TI YIO FO LO…..
HAPPY SUNDAY AND A BLESSED WEEK AHEAD!!! MAKE IT A DATE WITH CHRIST.
